Registraciónes se llevaran acabo de 10:00 am – 12:00pm en el Snack Bar junto a la escuela Adam’s en las canchas de Fútbol del Pozo, (Frente al Centro de Recreación “Minani” en la Ciudad de Santa Maria).
 

Lightning Soccer is a 8-week Spring season held in May and June.  Lightning Soccer is a “Coed” play format (Boys and Girls on the same team).  Play structure will be based on modified “Futsal” Rules.  Futsal is a 5v5 format version of soccer which is played all over the world especially in the soccer rich country of Brazil.  Futsal emphasizes the technical aspects of the game like dribbling, passing, and tight ball control.  Players of all levels and ages 4 to 18 years old are welcomed to sign-up. 

$50 for returning 2009 Fall Season players  -  $60 for new players

(New players must bring a copy of their birth certificate)

Goal Clearance (Throw by Goalkeeper):
All Goalkeeper distributions must be played in goalkeepers own half and touched by a teammate or opponent before crossing the midfield line.  If the ball crosses midfield before it is touched by another Player, an indirect free kick will be awarded to the opposing team.  If the ball crosses midfield before it is touched by another player, and the opposing team gains control of the ball, play will continue (game on).  The Goalkeeper may dribble out of the box, but must pass before crossing midfield.  On all Goal clearances the opposing Team must be behind the 3/4 line until the ball is touched by a Field Player.  (U6 must stay behind midfield line)

FIFA rules.  Except the following:
Games will consist of four quarters.  Home Teams kick off at start of first half.  Away Team kicks off at start of second half.  Second and Third quarter play will begin where play ended at the end of the previous quarter.
